Do I need a water softener?
Only if your water is hard. A water test, from $150, shows your hardness, iron, pH and dissolved solids.
Can my softener drain into my septic tank?
It should not. Softener and filter backwash belongs in its own drywell, which we install.
What removes the rotten egg smell?
Sulfur. An aeration iron filter removes iron, manganese and sulfur, and starts from $3,700.
