  2. 02

    Design

We submit the plan and pull the permits.

  4. 04

    Build

Our crew installs the tank and field, passes inspection and seeds the yard.

Questions

Septic installation, answered.

Answers from licensed plumbers and septic installers. Still unsure? Call West CT at (860) 248-6262.

How much does a new septic system cost in Connecticut?
A 1,000-gallon tank package starts from $7,841, and engineered leach fields start from $16,822. A complete system with both is $500 off. Site conditions like ledge or high groundwater can add cost, and we price those up front.
Plastic or concrete tank?
Our standard packages use code-compliant two-compartment plastic tanks with filters and risers. Concrete tanks are available for larger systems and traffic areas.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. Permits, inspections and Call Before You Dig mark-outs are included in our install packages.
How long does installation take?
Most tank replacements take one to two days on site. Complete systems take longer and depend on the design approval.
Is soil testing included?
Soil testing is a separate step, and its cost is credited back, minus the health district fee, when we install your system.
